Method and assumptions
Enter one row per course or semester. Use numeric grade points from your institution. Weighted average = Σ(points × credits) ÷ Σcredits. Credits must be positive. GPA and CGPA scales vary, so set the maximum to your own scale.
Worked example
Semester GPAs 8 and 9 with 20 and 30 credits give (160+270)/50 = 8.6.
